Hire Desk Manager - Hire Company within the Construction sector - Glasgow Hire Desk Manager. Our client are the UK's leading equipment hirer. With 8 divisions over 120 locations across the UK, they have everything you need from a half inch drill through to non modular hire. Based in their Head Office, the Hire Desk Manager will be responsible for directing and managing the team of Account Administrators, Administrators and Rehire Administrators, ensuring that specified accounts are managed efficiently to maximise profitability. The Hire Desk Manager will also provide detailed management information for the team and negotiate and monitor agreements with Rehire suppliers. It is a fast paced, challenging role in which the Hire Desk Manager will be responsible for controlling the budget, including involvement in departmental forecasting, and identifying and maximising revenue from the department. Within the Hire Desk Manager role you will provide comprehensive analysis of the team performance, identifying trends and providing recommendations for improvement. Hire Desk Manager applicants should have: Experience working in a similar role Excellent administration skills PC literacy, particularly Excel, is essential Experience liaising with customers and internal stakeholders Excellent knowledge of the hire industry Experience working with hire desk systems The Hire Desk Manager salary is 35k plus performance based bonus and pension Proactive People is a recruitment agency and recruitment business
