Delivery Driver

Collection / Delivery Driver. A Farnham based repair firm that specialises in consumer electronic equipment such as televisions, laptops and mobile phones need a Collection / Delivery Driver to join the team.

The Collection / Delivery Driver responsibilities include:

• Driving a van within the GU, KT, OX, RG, SL, TW postcodes
• Retuning/Resetting televisions in customer’s homes if required.
• Uplifting TV for return to the central workshop, including removing from wall-mount if needed
• Returning TV after workshop repair, including remounting TV onto wall if needed
• Having a good awareness of Health and Safety
• Using a PDA / Smartphone to retrieve journey/job information
• Being the face of the business and our large commercial client
• Keeping the van clean and tidy

The Collection / Delivery Driver will need:

• Experience of retuning/resetting televisions
• Good working knowledge of hand and power tools
• Full driving licence with no history of bans
• Experience of using PDA / Smartphone
• Ability to follow strict instructions and procedures
• Experience of providing exemplary face-to-face customer service
• Clean and smart appearance
• Physical ability to lift and carry multiple large and heavy televisions on a daily basis
• Good grasp of the English language – written and verbal

The Collection / Delivery Driver position is a permanent position, 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday.

The Collection / Delivery Driver salary is £20500.
