Trainee Client Account Manager 

A Portishead based logistics firms is looking for a Trainee Client Account Manager to join the team. The Trainee Client Account Manager will be predominantly working as part of a dynamic and enthusiastic team helping to manage, maintain and develop the client base. As part of the indoor team your role will involve dealing with both operational and sales activities including customer enquiries, booking of transportation, CRM administration, international customs declarations, pricing with partner networks or sub contractors, account development, upselling and updating of live goods in transit. This is a varied role with a fast-pace, you will need to think on your feet, problem solve but is also fun and a friendly environment.

Trainee Client Account Manager duties and responsibilities: 

• Dealing with client enquiries, providing proposals and quotations 
• Arrange bookings, liaise with sub contractors and 3rd part network partners 
• Handle all aspects of international multi modal freight forwarding 
• Create paperwork for import & export customs declarations 
• Problem solving as and when issues arise 
• Monitor transit movements 
• Close off bookings and gather sub contractor delivery paperwork 
• Support Client Account Managers with daily workload Benefits:
