Business Consultant

A Bristol based accounting software firm need a business consultant to join the team. The role sits within the customer services area of the business, and offers an interesting and varied role to people who enjoy dealing with customers to help them implement their software products, make suggestions to help them with issues or improve the way they use the software.

For this Business Consultant role you will have a finance background, and either at least part ACCA or AAT qualified.

With a finance background the Business Consultant will be able to find ways of helping customers with their issues through our software. The role could be carrying out training for customers, workshops, project management, testing gathering requirements from customers, or research, answering clarifications from our Development teams, assisting Sales completing tenders / proposals, assisting with demoing the product to finance teams / directors, presenting webinars, supporting the product, everything from the initial stage and meet, through to implementation and to go live and beyond. The Business Consultant will need to be flexible, as one day you could be training someone, other days demoing, or testing and supporting the product, there could be travel involved from time to time visiting customers, so you must be happy to be away from home and flexible. You will be office based, but will only be expected to be in the office a couple of days a week.

Responsibilities will include:

• Train customers on accounting software
• Implement new projects, as well as existing customer training, guidance, advice and suggestions
• Documentation updates
• Testing
• Training Documentation / Videos
• Produce tenders / proposals
• Create requirements documents, answer clarifications
• Think outside the box, Assist with new services & the Sales Process

You will be:

Experienced in Implementations or Supporting Accountancy products, with a desire to succeed and are happy to get stuck in (sometimes at the deep end)

The Business Consultant salary is up to £35k OTE, DOE,  Private Medical Insurance, Death and Disability Insurance, Contributory Pension Scheme
