Cloud Networking Engineer

As a Cloud Networking Engineer – Infrastructure, you will be an integral part of the team responsible for crafting and delivering creative cloud solutions to clients. Your duties will include designing, building, and automating cost-effective, resilient, and secure cloud-based Infrastructure, as well as migrations of existing workloads to public clouds.
You could be based anywhere in the UK working from home or can work from an office local to you depending on your location.

Day to day Cloud Networking Engineer work will include:

  • Design, and deliver cloud-native, hybrid, and multi-cloud workloads
  • Migrate enterprise workloads to Azure using industry-standard as well as proprietary methodologies
  • Automate cloud deployments, as well as build CI/CD pipeline to support Cloud-Based workloads
  • Provide experienced knowledge and/or develop competency on various automation tools
  • Stay on top of the latest trends and develop expertise in emerging cloud technologies
  • Work as a member of the Networking & Security team and alongside other Infrastructure Engineers
  • Work as technical / engagement lead
  • Help in growing the team and specialty (Azure)
  • Work as part of an International Infrastructure team.



You will need:

  • Solid public-cloud knowledge in implementing and operating the cloud platforms (compute, cloud storage, data services, supporting networking and management/monitoring services)
  • Project experience implementing core infrastructure, networking, and cloud-based services for business teams or consumers
  • Deep (Azure) product knowledge and understanding of product features
  • Hands-on experience building solutions from cloud components using tools like Terraform, Ansible
  • Expertise in cloud security and identity best practices
  • Experience in creating cloud cost models and running cloud readiness assessments
  • Experience in working with enterprise IT and implementing hybrid cloud solutions
  • Exposure to other cloud platforms apart from your primary expertise preferred
  • Other advantages include exposure to Microservices design/implementation, API Management, Container technologies
  • Strong Microsoft skillset - AD, Windows Server etc.
  • Experience with On-Prem to Azure Cloud Migrations
  • Nasuni Storage Experience
  • Working Knowledge of Nutanix
  • Expertise of Deploying, Configuring and Maintaining Pal Alto Firewalls
  • Experience in the Management of Pal Alto Panorama
  • Professional and/or Associate level certifications are a plus.
