Site Surveyor

Site Surveyor (house build). An Avonmouth flooring firm are looking for a Site Surveyor to join the team. The hours of work for this role are 7:30-16:00 Monday to Friday. The Site Surveyor role is a field based role supporting the operations and commercial departments, visiting sites and inspecting houses in readiness for fitting flooring. The Site Surveyor role includes measuring and recording the dimensions of rooms, completing pre-fitting site inspection surveys and obtaining sign offs for works completed for invoicing.

The Site Surveyor main duties include:

  1. Visiting building sites and inspecting houses to check for readiness for fitting. 
  2. Measuring and recording the dimensions of rooms and completing pre-fitting site inspection surveys. 
  3. Required to go to sites and deliver materials. 
  4. The role requires the flexibility to step in support Warehouse Manager. Assisting in a safe and efficient running of the Warehouse operation. 
  5. Ensure that Sign Off Sheet are obtained for each property to facilitate invoicing process. 
  6. Ensuring all completed paperwork is returned to the relevant department at the office (Operations/Commercial) and the office are also notified promptly if there are any issues. 
  7. Must strictly comply with all new H&S risk and method statement relating to the corona virus. 
  8. Any other reasonable tasks asked of you by the Operations Manager. 

The Site Surveyor will need:

  1. Relevant experience
  2. Good basic IT skills and an aptitude to use an iPad and laser measuring device once trained. 
  3. A full clean driving licence. 
  4. An ability to work on your own initiative as once training is completed the jobholder will be working on their own, out on sites. 
  5. Strict observance of Health and Safety instructions. 
  6. Excellent communication and people skills; able to communicate one the phone and face to face with office staff, site staff, fitters, sub-contractors and suppliers. 
  1. Surveying experience is desirable 

The Site Surveyor salary is £25k, £26k if you have a CSCS card, plus van plus employee assistance programme, pension, free parking, 20 days annual leave, plus 3 days additional for December holiday shut down
