A Bristol based, flexible working software firm are looking for a Full Stack Javascript Developer / Software Developer to join their fast growing team.

The successful candidate can be based anywhere but would need to be able to attend monthly meetings in Bristol and London and other meetings from time to time.

Role:

• Maintain high code quality and ensure responsiveness across company applications
• Be part of the whole development process, from prototype to production
• Collaborate with the rest of the team to design, develop and test new features
• Research technical requirements and bring problems and solutions to the table

The successful candidate will:

• Take pride in producing and maintaining work to a high standard
• Be self motivated with the ability to work independently
• Be a creative thinker able to recognise and solve problems by thinking outside the box
• Need a willingness to adopt new techniques and technologies and stay up to dare with industry best practices

Candidate will require most of the following:

• Great attention to detail
• Experience with testing methodologies (BDD and e2e testing)
• Experience with Node.js and Javascript
• Experience with MongoDB (or other document based storage)
• Experience with Angular (or similar)
• Experience with Git (or similar)
• Experience of AWS (or similar cloud based services)
• Experience developing and consuming REST APIs
• Experience with Linux / Docker / Networking
• Experience working with command line tools
• Understanding of security and data protection best practises
• Good internal communication skills

Salary range is £40-80k depending on experience + benefits
